Paris Rooftop Prestige residence

The staff really made this stay stand out, and the price was terrific. The hotel was spotless, with a beautiful bathroom and a great balcony. There are lots of cute cafes nearby too. My only gripe was that taking my key out of the slot to leave made the room go dark.

For 200 euros a night, room 702 was very poor value. It was on the ground floor beside both the street and the lobby, so people talked and laughed well past midnight. The window had cloudy plastic film and an exterior awning, leaving no view at all. I asked reception to roll the awning in for the morning, but nothing was done. The left handle for the small opening section of the window was broken. The shower drain couldn't keep up and flooded the bathroom, the toilet didn't flush properly, and the room was dusty. The hotel itself is in a nice area and seems pleasant in principle.

I live nearby and have stayed here a couple of times while work was being done in my apartment. My mother and brother have stayed too, and we all love it. It's a lovely little boutique hotel, with clean, cozy rooms, comfortable beds, and staff who are welcoming and helpful.

We loved the view and would happily stay here again. The street is lovely, full of shops, and public transport is easy to reach, though the hotel is a fair way from the main tourist sights. The staff were amazing and always ready to help. Our room was very clean and reasonably easy to get to, even though the old French building has some very narrow staircases. The carpet and wallpaper are worn and peeling in places, and the half-tinted glass bathroom doesn't offer much privacy.
