We booked the wellness area for a morning swim. The pool was lovely and the sauna nice, but the steam room was out of order. The lockers had no keys and most were locked, so our family and other guests ended up carrying our things to the poolside. Afterwards, there wasn’t a single towel. A cleaner said she’d bring some, but when she came back she wouldn’t hand one to me or my kids and went through a door. I’d checked with reception that towels were provided. We walked back to our room soaking wet. The room itself was generally nice, but my son found hair in the bath and part of the shower was broken. We complained about the bath that night and nobody had followed up by the time I wrote this. The booking mix-up also still hadn’t been resolved. At check-in, the receptionist was rude, seemed distracted, and didn’t communicate well. This is the worst Pullman we’ve stayed at. I used to visit them often, especially the wonderful Basel Pullman, and this one doesn’t meet the usual standard. Honestly, I wish I’d chosen Ibis Styles. The photo I attached was taken after my son tried washing the hair down the drain, so it doesn’t show the bath in all its glory. I’m gutted.

The only things I can give credit for are the kind woman at check-in and the swimming pool. We had a very stressful stay in a premier double deluxe room with two adults and a child, and we would never return. Housekeeping and room service were painfully slow. Even after asking repeatedly, we never got replacement toilet paper. The air conditioning barely worked, so on a 33C day we slept in the heat. The bathtub was clogged with dirty water that took ages to drain, making it difficult for three of us even to shower. When we repeatedly called reception and housekeeping, we were told that air conditioning and bathtubs in France are generally like that and we shouldn’t expect too much. That was unbelievable from a hotel like Pullman. We’ve stayed at several four and five star hotels in Paris and elsewhere in Europe, including other Pullman properties.

Stéphane deserves a special thank you for his genuine care and warm welcome. He went out of his way to make sure everything was right and made the stay even better. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. From arrival onward, things felt well organized, and the hotel had a stylish but relaxing atmosphere. I’d happily recommend staying here and would love to come back.

The room service took about an hour and ten minutes from ordering to delivery. We waited around 50 minutes just for the order to be acknowledged, so I went to reception to follow it up. Marie was very polite and efficient in helping me, but the meals still took another 15 to 20 minutes after that. The food itself was nice. The hotel was modern and very clean. I’m not keen on the environmental scheme where towels are changed only every two days. On arrival I was also shocked to learn of a €450 credit card hold. We booked through easyJet, which didn’t mention it, and I couldn’t find any information about the hold on the Pullman Paris website either.
