Hotel Regina Louvre

We've stayed here three times now and loved it each time. The rooms were very clean and quiet, and the beds were super comfortable. Billy at the front desk went above and beyond and made us feel welcome right away. The building is beautiful, the service impeccable, and the location unbeatable. We can only recommend it and will definitely come back!

The staff are the reason I'll stay at Hotel Regina Louvre whenever I'm back in Paris. The doorman welcomed us by name each evening and was always helpful. At the front desk, everyone was welcoming, and when we had no hot water one evening, they were accommodating and refunded 30% of that night's stay without us asking. The issue was fixed within two hours. The concierge team helped me surprise my wife for her birthday and gave us great restaurant suggestions for her, me, and our three children. The hotel itself is beautiful, inside and out, with lovely decor. Its spot across from the Louvre is perfect, with restaurants, gardens, shopping, car service, and the metro easy to reach. I don't usually write reviews, positive or negative, but our recent stay made me want to recommend this hotel.

The wait staff and housekeeping team were friendly and accommodating, and our room was comfortable and clean. But the front desk staff were somber and unwelcoming. Nobody smiled or greeted us warmly, and in my opinion the front desk sets the tone. The carpets and furniture are old, stained, and worn, and the hotel needs upgrades. I was disappointed and won't return.

The staff were nice to talk to, but that was where the service ended. We told them at check-in around 4pm that the Wi-Fi wasn't working, then reported it again around 10pm. We explained that it was important because of my daughter's exam and university offer, and because I needed to deal with work emails. When I asked what had been done since we first reported it, there was no response or offer to have us come to reception.
