Renaissance Paris Republique Hotel

I had a nice hotel stay, but the real stars were the massage therapists at the Spa. Agnes & Kelly were fabulous and made the experience comfortable and positive for both me and my partner. If you're staying here, you must visit the spa downstairs.

The location is great, and the place works well for business or leisure. The room was cosy, the shower was nice, and room service was prompt. The spa and gym were nice too. The front desk and concierge team were warm and quick to help. At checkout, MALAK patiently helped me get the shopping tags off my clothes. Always happy to come back!

The hotel and rooms seemed new, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was good. The metro stop is only a few meters away, on a very good line. Notre Dame is about a 30-minute walk. It's a bit far from many sights, but we like walking to see the city and take the metro if it's too far. There are restaurants and fast food places around the corner. Service was mixed. There was no turn-down service, and we waited a good 5-7 minutes at the bar before anyone took our order. The woman working there was alone, with six other tables. As a Platinum member, I didn't get an upgrade because the hotel was full. I called around 11 am for slippers, and by 9:30 pm they still hadn't arrived, so I had to call again. I'd put it at 3.8 stars.

The service from every employee we met was incredible, starting with Hiba helping by phone with my bookings and continuing right through our departure. Everyone had food and activity recommendations, and the team made us feel special. Our flight was delayed for two days, but Thierry, I believe from the concierge team, made sure we could keep the same room and took a lot of stress out of the situation. Also, the new chicken sandwich from the bar and room service was absolutely incredible. Special shout to the bartender, Ha!
