Sublim Apartment Ile Saint Louis Center of Paris

The promenade was the most charming one I’ve walked recently. A walk around the island feels scenic and tranquil, the kind of thing you never forget. I’d recommend it to anyone staying in Paris for a short time.

We visited on 23 Feb 19, and the weather was perfect, with the sun shining. The 90 minute walk was fantastic. We took our time looking at the little book and art stalls along the river, and stopped at different restaurants and bars. The buildings have amazing architecture, and you can watch the river boats going up and down. They were packed on both the top and bottom decks. It’s a nice walk that leads toward other areas of Paris you’ll come across and be glad to see.

After a week on Ile Saint Louis, I was ready to buy an apartment there! It feels local and safe, with wonderful restaurants. Le Marais and Saint Germaine are close, and the metro makes it easy to get everywhere.

We stayed on the island, right across from Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris, and watched the beautiful lights at night. We also had a magnificent view of Eiffel Tower. There are several churches with lovely performances, plus a wonderful cheese store, a well-known ice cream shop, and more. It’s an island in Paris, France where politicians, artists, singers, and others live.
