West Paris Suite

I ended up cancelling my 7-night booking after the trouble getting into West Paris Suite. I spent more than an hour outside the address at 11pm with my family. The website advertised a 24-hour reception, but there wasn’t one. Looking at the building, I even wondered whether it was a real apart-hotel. Before arriving, I’d emailed the West Paris Suite concierge to ask how to get in. They said they’d send the information the day before, but nothing came. I followed up several times by email without a reply, then called the number on the website repeatedly that night. No one answered. A family of four staying there eventually let us into the building, but the rooms were on the 3rd floor and I couldn’t enter ours without an access number. They said they’d had the same trouble reaching the owner and getting into the building when they arrived at night a few days earlier. They eventually had to leave late at night to find somewhere else, and because they’d paid in full, they couldn’t get back the first night’s cost. I avoided that by spending the first night in a small hotel down the road. The next day I found a better, cheaper apart-hotel at Adagio Eiffel Tower, 10 minutes away.

A 4 pm check-in and 10 am check-out is crazy.

We stayed as a family in a clean, comfortable 4-bedroom apartment. Great location and rooms. I’d recommend it to families with children.
