Yves Klein Blue Dream

We booked our stay under the name Saad Majed, and the service was a huge disappointment. Whenever we called the front desk, they told us to come downstairs and get what we needed ourselves. Late one night, my daughter threw up on the sheets. I called for fresh ones, but they wouldn't bring any and told me to come down and change the bed myself. We also had to take all our luggage downstairs without any help. For the price, the frustration wasn't worth it. I can't understand the 4-star rating; the service and attitude felt like 2 stars at best.

The room felt old, and there was no view like the ones in the Google photos. I paid €260 for one night expecting something better. It was only okay, with a bed that felt too small for two and odd noises through the night. The location is good, right by the Arc De Triumph, but the person at reception was rude as soon as I arrived. No welcome at all.

They charged me €151 for a bed for my child when I arrived, but the bed was never brought. The room upgrade they had promised didn't happen either. During cleaning, they left us without tissues or water, and the hallways smelled unpleasant because of the garbage. The receptionist with long blonde hair offered to arrange a Louvre Museum ticket for €199. It felt like she was taking advantage of tourists, especially since I booked one online myself for just €15.

We mostly used the hotel as a place to sleep while we were out enjoying all that Paris has to offer. Our courtyard room was comfortable and nicely equipped, and it seemed more modern than the rooms on the upper floors. The staff were friendly and accommodating.
