The location is still great, but the meal left us disappointed. Our salmon was fried on the skin side yet arrived bone-cold, and the food was ordinary even when served warm. The waiters seemed indifferent. After dinner at Engliberge, I wondered what the founding family would think of the third generation’s service and how their legacy is being handled. This place needs a capable relative who knows how to clean it up.

A perfect spot for dinner.

I love this place for its location, the wonderful mountain scents, and the stories of races past and present. The restaurant is excellent, especially the baked eggs and trout gravlax. At night it was so peaceful, with only the stream murmuring in the distance. Another place with excellent value for money.
