The central location was convenient, but a lot about the stay was difficult. Check-in was a struggle because the host sent the instructions in French, which I don't speak, and I had trouble finding the key safe. Inside, there was dust everywhere, and I could hear little bits of the old stone walls crumbling overnight. I was there on a Saturday with my two kids. Before we could settle in, we had to make up their beds using the fold-out couch. When we opened it, we immediately saw mold on the back wall, which isn't good for anyone with allergies or trying to avoid mold. The ground-floor curtains also didn't give much privacy. They looked decorative rather than practical, and people outside could see into the apartment. That night, young neighbors were partying and shouting on their way to the bars. There's a piano bar just three meters from the apartment, with noisy people outside too.
