The check-in process was efficient, and the staff were helpful. But the AC wouldn’t work. When I asked about it, staff said it wasn’t working anywhere in the hotel because it was October. The room was 30°, and the beds were noisy, so I had a very uncomfortable night. I cut my three-night stay down to just one night.

After the fires in Aude forced us to find somewhere else to stay, we booked at the last minute. The staff welcomed us warmly and quickly arranged two comfortable rooms. The front desk team were especially helpful. The hotel was quiet and clean, centrally located near the old town and all amenities, and breakfast was excellent. Many thanks, we’ll be back for a longer visit to the region.

The downtown location is amazing, and I really liked the hotel's style and decorations. The rooms are nice too. The pillows could be improved.

The car park was so tight that getting in and out would be a real challenge in anything bigger than a small car. Our room, 500, also hadn’t been cleaned to a good standard, which was disappointing for this brand. The welcome at Mercure Perpignan was unfriendly and set the tone for a disappointing stay. It didn’t feel up to Mercure’s usual standards.

The location is fantastic for exploring Perpignan. Reception handled the service very professionally, and the restaurant staff were especially kind and helpful. People throughout the hotel were kind, with the restaurant standing out.
