Dolce villa

We booked through Bookings at the last minute one evening, drawn in by the photos and good reviews. The room itself was decent, clean, and spacious, with okay bedding and air conditioning that worked well. Beyond two chairs and two bath towels, though, there was almost nothing there, not even a toothbrush holder. The outside was a different story. The property looked neglected, with a dried-up garden and a broken jacuzzi covered in cobwebs. There was no one around, just a key box for check-in, and no breakfast. This feels like an arrangement to avoid at all costs. How can someone make a little money by using the basement of a house without providing any service? Reader, traveler, run away. Help!

Clémentine made us feel very welcome while remaining attentive and discreet. The place was impeccably clean, with everything we needed for a romantic break in a beautiful region. We especially loved the sauna and terrace. We’d happily recommend it!

We spent a week in the suite and found it spacious, peaceful, and relaxing. The tasteful decor and cleanliness were lovely, and the private terrace was especially nice for breakfast. Service stayed discreet throughout our stay. Thank you, Clémentine, it was a real pleasure to meet you. Wishing you all the best. Gérald and Noëlle from Nantes

The hosts were welcoming and very helpful, and the room was spacious, peaceful, and pleasant, with a terrace facing the garden. It had a TV and air conditioning. Spa treatments and dinner are offered, though you need to book ahead. There’s parking outside. I’d definitely recommend it.
