Lydie was a delightful and helpful host, and her English is excellent. The house is spacious, private, and blissfully quiet, while still being right in the centre of beautiful Pézenas. The equipment and decor are to a very high standard, and it exceeded our expectations. Even the stairs turned out to be less high and steep than we’d feared, which was welcome when we arrived. Such a lovely house.

The small terrace and cool plunge pool were lovely features of Lydie & Charles’s top-floor apartment, where we stayed in August 2024. Set in a tall historic townhouse, it’s centrally located in Pezenas, near La Mairie and great parking. Lydie was incredibly helpful, even taking some guests to the train and airport for us. They were flexible and welcoming, and we’ll be back.

Lydie made us feel very welcome and was discreet, helpful, and full of good local tips. She brought breakfast with a smile each day, including a different homemade selection alongside bread and pastries. The studio is peaceful despite being only steps from the historic center, with a comfortable bed and a lovely shower room. A charming place to stay.
