A cosy, warm place with great service and really good food for the price. The French menu was top notch. I’d happily recommend it for lunch.

The room was basic but okay. The kitchen smell coming up into it was unbearable. I found the restaurant feedback I’d read a bit overrated: the food wasn’t bad, but the dishes were quite messy.

It’s a good, clean hotel, though a bit dated. Breakfast could be better for the price. The room was quiet when it faced the garden.

The meal was delicious and good value, with excellent vegetarian options. I’d go back, though it’s closed on Sundays and Mondays.

We tried the evening fish menu for €26.50, which gave us a chance to taste several dishes. The cooking was simple but well done. We sat on the rear terrace, which was peaceful, although the view wasn’t particularly striking. Staff seemed a little thin on the ground. Even with a reservation, we had to find someone to take us to our table when we arrived, as the hotel and restaurant staff share the same space.
