Le Château de Leugny

I needed a good rest while getting ready for major surgery, and we slept better than ever in a great bed. Sylvia, Hazel our well-behaved dog, and I had a really good time here in late August and September last year, 2025. The pool and sauna were great, and we also made it to Ilse de Re and La Rochelle on separate days. Both were stunning and well worth visiting. A very big thank you, even if it’s late, to Valleiry and Christophe for their hospitality and the lovely wine. I was having a difficult time, and your kindness made it so much better. The operation went well and I’m recovering nicely. We’ll be back.

We had a large room with a view over the park, and the night was quiet. The bed was really comfortable. The building is beautiful, and Valerie and Christophe were kind, welcoming hosts who even let us try some local wine. Thanks again for your hospitality. We’ll come back to see how your projects are coming along. See you soon!

Valerie and Christophe made us feel welcome and gave us great suggestions for things to do and places to see nearby. The rooms are comfortable and nicely decorated, and the property is laid out really well. We also enjoyed the peaceful pool and spa area. A charming spot to stay while enjoying the region. I’d definitely recommend it.

Breakfast was generous, with fresh ingredients, and the room looking out over the park was magnificent, with a very comfortable bed. The spa and sauna area was a great place to relax. Our hosts were charming and very attentive. Don’t hesitate to book a stay at Château de Leugny.
