Les Cèdres

The surroundings are splendid, and we enjoyed a very good, relaxed evening meal. The room was a different story: when I booked, I asked for an extra bed for my husband and son alongside the 140 cm double. The manager said they could provide one for an additional charge, which I accepted. When we arrived, there was still only one bed, and its bedding was very uncomfortable. This was our second stay; last year's visit had left us with such fond memories.

The bill came to 77 euros for two, which is hard to understand given the meal. The side dishes had no taste, and the ribeye seemed frozen, though it was cooked as requested. It's a shame, especially with a lovely wood-fired oven and a specialty in grilled meat. Home cooking can be excellent when it's prepared with care. The chef should taste what's being served.

The view is magnificent, and we were warmly welcomed. Even though it was late, we could still enjoy a meal there. The food was good and the paella delicious, though the desserts were a little disappointing. The restaurant really does live up to its name.

We arrived very late on August 15th with our two children, aged 7 and 4, worn out from climbing the Sainte-Baume mountain range. They welcomed us so warmly. The portions were generous and the prices very reasonable. We're delighted we found this place. Thank you for being so professional.
