The food was utterly delicious, and the couple serving us were friendly and welcoming, working very hard. There's a smashing bakery across the road, too. Our room had a big comfortable bed, a seating area, and a small but adequate balcony with a gorgeous view. The shower was lovely and hot, and a kettle was provided. We'd definitely return.

The service was really friendly, the food excellent and reasonably priced, and even the Great Dane came over for a pet.

As an Aussie, I do like prawns, and the ones in the warm prawn salad were among the best I've had. Great food at the restaurant, and the chef is clearly first class.

The back terrasse is lovely and peaceful, and the portions are generous. The food is excellent and authentic. The cook was very accommodating and made vegetarian dishes for me. Service was quick and polite. Wholeheartedly recommended!

The hotel is simple, clean, and a good place to stay. I also know Le Lou Pèbre d'Aï well, and whenever I'm in France I love going back. This isn't a sterile, touristy international luxury spot. It's a family-run business that's been going for decades, sharing the specialties of its region. If you want a real French experience and a taste of why French food is so famous, places like this are the reason. A really nice experience for a reasonable price.
