Camping Le Freche a l Ane

Our tent pitch turned out to be shared with other people, and cars weren’t allowed there. It wasn’t a deal breaker, but I wish we’d known when booking. The campsite itself is clean, well organized, and full of greenery. There’s even a gallette truck. We’ll come back if we’re in the area.

There’s a little shop at reception for basics, and you can order bread and croissants for the next morning. The owners are friendly and helpful, and work really hard to keep the campsite and its facilities immaculate. Pitches have lovely countryside views, and you can pick a sunny or shady spot depending on the time of year. They’re also very spacious and excellent value. It’s peaceful and quiet, with supermarkets and Brittany’s beautiful coastline just minutes away. We first came with our caravan in July 2023 and stayed more than three weeks because we were so happy there, then returned in September. After 20 years of camping in France, this is our forever campsite. We’ll be back next year.

The friendly ladies manage the campsite really well, and everything is very clean. It’s in a great location, with spacious pitches. We had plenty of room for our caravan and two small tents, plus space to live comfortably.

The setting is peaceful, near a stunning stretch of coastline, and the views are wonderful. We stayed for two nights and found the facilities incredibly clean, with beautiful landscaping. The pitches are roomy and very good value. We’d happily stay again.
