Blue Kaz Caraïb-Kaz Indigo

The garden was made for unwinding. Cats, frogs, a toad, lizards, and all sorts of birds became our neighbors, and the garden made it easy to switch off. Everything in the rental was clean and practical, with plenty of thoughtful basics already there: shampoo, shower gel, towels, made beds, air conditioning, and water without a refrigerator. We could have packed much lighter! The electric shutters also made us feel secure when we went out. Virginie and Alain welcomed us simply and warmly. They were available, quick to respond, and always had a kind word, a smile, or a useful tip. Their appetizer platters and breakfasts deserve a sixth star. It was almost like having a private chef, and guessing what would be on the breakfast tray or which spices were in the chocolate became a little morning game. Thanks for all the suggestions on places to visit. We’d love to come back and spend more time with you in this relaxing haven. Much more than a rental, and highly recommended. The cottage feels so comfortable, with an open kitchen, a spacious bedroom, a jacuzzi, and no overlooking neighbors. Everything seems set up to make you feel at home. We loved the peaceful garden and the hummingbirds flying through it the next morning. On arrival we were welcomed with a delicious Creole dish and an exceptional house planter. Breakfast the next day brought lovely little specialties, and Virginie is a real cordon bleu. Alain’s planters are just as good! Thank you for the warm welcome, your smiles, and all the tips on outings, restaurants, beaches, and visits. Your passion for welcoming guests really comes through. The owners were so friendly, and the accommodation itself was excellent. We had a lovely family stay in a clean, pleasant, well-equipped room, surrounded by a lush garden and hummingbirds. Breakfast was exceptional, all homemade, and the Caribbean meal we tried was very good too. We recommend Blue Kaz Caraïb without hesitation.

Alain and Virginie were friendly and helpful, with great tips for excursions and snorkeling spots. We had a fantastic stay at “Kaz Indigo” and would love to return to Blue Kaz Caraib. The garden and private jacuzzi made it a lovely place to relax, and hummingbirds came by at breakfast. Everything was furnished and decorated with care. The kitchen had all we needed to prepare our own meals, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time on Basse-Terre.
