Holiday Inn Express Paris Poissy by IHG

We missed breakfast on our second day after a misunderstanding, but the staff still sorted out a very decent one for us. That kindness stood out. The receptionist had also been really friendly and helpful when we arrived around 1 a.m. on Saturday after our flight was cancelled. The room was clean and comfortable for four people, and breakfast was nice. Top marks to the team.

The breakfast was good, and the bar area was nice. There are transport links close by, with the train station a little nearer than the bus station, which is about a 10-minute walk. My IHG status was recognised too, and I'll stay here again next time I'm in Paris. The rooms were standard, but clean and well stocked. Staff were very helpful, and spoke good English when I struggled with French. The photo shows the underground car park entrance. The road is one way, so approach from the right direction, then contact reception on the intercom when you arrive.

It's handy for business meetings around Poissy, with the train and bus stations only a five-minute walk away. There's also a small market and restaurants nearby. The rooms aren't especially spacious, but they're comfortable, and the staff are always ready to help. Service was good. Parking is available for a fee.

The building feels very new, and the hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff were friendly and courteous. I did have two problems, though: there were mosquitoes throughout the hotel, including the rooms, and the mattress felt too hard for me.
