Htel Restaurant La Petite Villette

Excellent.

There were five of us last Friday, and even the 37°C heat couldn’t spoil a delicious meal from the chef. The tomato and mozzarella starter was something special, and our dishes were beautifully presented and full of flavor. Even the shark on the menu was so good! The two owners are lovely, and I highly recommend this little restaurant. At 15 euros per person, don’t hesitate, friends. The storefront on this street doesn’t look like much, but go ahead and open the door!

The food is fresh and well done, and the advice is good, so it’s a nice place overall. The welcome is friendly, though discretion can sometimes be lacking. We don’t always want to pat the server on the back, for instance when we’re coming back from a funeral. Sometimes you just want to eat without having to make forced jokes with a boss who seems to drink too much coffee.

The owners are incredibly friendly, and the food is fresh and delicious. If you’re into goat cheese and pesto, you’ll like the crispy dishes. Prices are very reasonable, and I highly recommend this little restaurant. We were a couple and went with the wine recommendation, which turned out to be another lovely surprise that evening. The atmosphere was so nice that we’re planning to return with friends. It’s one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at.
