We’ve stopped here regularly when we’re in the area and have never left disappointed. Before this visit, we’d only stopped for a drink, but this time we had lunch, and it was even better than we’d hoped. The place is spotless, the meal was delicious, and the price was great for what we got. They were closing for the afternoon, but still welcomed us for lunch at 11:45 am, even though plenty of places might have said no. The owners are incredibly kind and helpful. We highly recommend this inn!

The owner welcomed us warmly at Le Calvaire restaurant and shared detailed, passionate information about the famous Calvary of Pontchâteau. That added a lovely cultural touch to our visit. The home-style food was delicious, made with fresh, quality ingredients, and the service was friendly and impeccable. Le Calvaire restaurant is a great place to visit in Pontchâteau. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in the region.
