Breakfast was 10/10, and the complimentary wine and beer in the hospitality fridge were great too. We spent two nights there in September, my partner and I, in the Finistere room, which had a lovely river view.

A very nice place to stay for a reasonable price - hotel "Old Salt House" is located in Port-Launay. This hotel is located in the city center. Before going to bed, you can take a walk and enjoy the main landmarks of the city. You can take a walk and explore the neighbourhood area of the hotel — Spadium Park, Oceanapolis and Garden National Botanical Conservatory of Brest.

Such a relaxing place to stay, with a lovely room and good breakfasts.

The rooms are really spacious, and some look out over the canal and boats. You also get free drinks in your own mini-fridge, plus a kettle with tea and other hot drinks. Breakfast is generous, with sweet and savory choices, and the bathrooms were spotless. The linens and bedding were comfortable and clearly well cared for. Peter was attentive and handled everything. The hotel sits beside the canal, with charming rustic cottage-style decor throughout. It’s a beautifully renovated old building, with granite, slate, a beam staircase, and creaky floorboards. Those are the only downside I can think of, and they add to the character. I’d happily recommend this bed and breakfast.

The breakfasts were very complete, and the rooms are huge, cozy, and comfortable. There’s also a great fridge stocked with free water, soft drinks, wine, and beer. Organic tea and hot chocolate are provided in the room too. An incredible bed and breakfast in Brittany, highly recommended.
