Hotel Don Cesar

The villa I got wasn't the one they'd confirmed, and they couldn't sort it out. The food choices were very limited, and although the team was nice, they didn't seem trained for the job. Management was hard to find and seemed to be avoiding complaints, while the concierge couldn't arrange any services. The gym is tiny, with space for two people at most. Poor value, and I won't stay here again.

The food stood out throughout our stay. We tried lots of dishes at lunch and dinner, and everything was consistently outstanding. The spa treatments were top notch too. From the moment we arrived, the spacious, thoughtfully designed rooms and facilities, with their stunning sea view, made us feel comfortable. The staff brought a warm, authentic feeling that made the place feel like home. Our first trip to Corsica couldn't have gone better. We had precious time together as a family at the Don Cesar, and left with a holiday we'll remember. We'll definitely come back.

We had a great dinner and enjoyed the included breakfasts. There are excellent beaches nearby for swimming in the Mediterranean, even though the hotel's own beach isn't much of a beach: it's rocky and beside lots of power boats. The pools are great, and I had fun playing the reasonable grand piano. Staff were attentive, knew their stuff, and spoke English very well. The port is lively, with access to rustic, authentic Corsican food.

We spent four days here and really liked the place. The staff were all lovely, the location was nice, and dinner was good too.
