The location is perfect, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. That's why I give it 3 stars. The room and bathroom were clean enough, but the shower curtain smelled, and the broken shower had been patched with tape. The room was small to begin with, and the oversized furniture made it feel smaller. A useless chair blocked the door from opening, the huge wardrobe wasn't needed, and the balcony was unusable with a table and two chairs taking up all the space.

We tried to arrange a nice dinner for our group, and I wish we hadn't. The food was terrible, and the vegetarian guests got only mashed potato. On arrival, we also found dirty rooms and discovered many of the air conditioners weren't working, despite having warned the hotel months ahead that our guests needed the best quality. Not recommended at all.

Broken air conditioning, shower doors that don't work, and trash around the pool. This place is a ruin, poorly maintained, and the man at reception didn't seem to care at all. The customer is definitely not king here. I've stayed in better dorm rooms in El Salvador.

The hotel is basic but comfortable, and the breakfast is good. For this price, a room with a sea view gets you the best view of all the hotels in Porto-Ota.

Bad food and rooms, and the service was very rude. I'd give it zero stars if that were an option, but one is the minimum.
