There were 13 of us in town for a wedding nearby, and Alix and Jean made us feel so welcome. We only had the long weekend, so didn't get a chance to try the golf, hiking, or other facilities, though it was easy to imagine staying a full week and keeping busy. The Bastion is a lovely size, with a nice pool and beautiful views. The village is charming, and there are nice towns close by too. Thanks, Alix and Jean.

The owners were warm and easy to reach, and we had a wonderful stay at Bastion du Prince Noir. The house is spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, with a lovely view and a beautiful garden as well as a pool. There are plenty of sights and activities around the area. It felt like a little slice of paradise, and we're grateful for how enjoyable they made our stay.

Our children and grandchildren, 14 of us in all, had a perfect annual holiday here. The seven comfortable bedrooms are spread across different wings, far enough apart that everyone can have their own space. Meanwhile, the huge living room gave us room to gather while the grandchildren played in the middle. The children especially loved the tennis. We would have enjoyed the pool too, if the weather had been better.

There's room for everyone in the very spacious living room, and the place is peaceful, with a real sense of serenity and contemplation. Well maintained and spacious, it suits ages 0 to 99 and feels like a good place to reconnect. The private pool and covered terrace are so welcoming. I'd recommend it for any vacation.
