The Dutch owners were so kind and attentive, and we enjoyed our stay very much. They built the spacious house themselves with great care and attention to detail. It has every comfort, including a very large kitchen with all the appliances you could want. The pool is lovely and heated naturally, helped by keeping its cover on in the evening. Set on top of a mountain, the house is wonderfully quiet and has a huge private plot with lots of forest. In the evenings we saw plenty of deer, hares, and wild boars. There are high peaks in the distance where vultures circle overhead. Lovely walks start from the house, and cycling is possible if you’re fit. The trail is sometimes steep (%!) and the road surface isn’t paved equally well all the way. You can drive to the Spanish border in no time via a beautiful mountain pass that’s easy to cycle. There’s plenty to see and do in the area.

We were looked after so well from the moment we arrived. The view was amazing, the house beautiful, and the whole place so peaceful. Fantastic! Thanks, even though our stay isn’t over yet 😉😃 Ada and Eric
