Near Montargis, this feels like staying with family. The garden is spectacular, and much of the breakfast comes from it. We ate on a lovely veranda with the other guests. The owners take real pride in the place, and the charming rooms are thoughtfully equipped. If you can skip a big city stay in Paris and need somewhere before a flight, this is a wonderful option.

The homemade jams at breakfast were divine, and dinner that evening was just as tasty, with selected wines. We had a welcoming, relaxing long weekend at this charming place. It was excellent for a stay right there, and I’d certainly go back.

The owner was incredibly friendly and attentive, and everything else felt just right too: the location, welcome, comfort, and breakfast. What more could you ask for? We highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

We came back to Clos du Ru for a second stay in three years. The garden and vegetable patch are magnificent, and the whole place feels calm and relaxing among the trees and flowers. Mr. Frédéric is welcoming and charming, while still being discreet. Our room had excellent equipment, very comfortable bedding, and a top-notch bathroom. Breakfast was generous, with delightful homemade jams and a table that had everything. A wonderful place we recommend without hesitation.

It’s hard to leave this peaceful, charming place. Frédéric seems completely at one with it, and the rooms are tastefully decorated. The bed is fantastic, the sort that leaves you dreaming like an angel. It’s near the canal, too, with lovely walks.
