The bed was comfortable, and the pool was spotless and just the right temperature, so it was easy to unwind and rest. We stayed for three nights in a place full of history. Pierre and Catherine made the stay special, with a wonderful breakfast, good conversation, and helpful advice. Thanks again for such a great experience.

The garden was cared for, and the kids could use the toys for free. This owner-run historic guesthouse made a welcome break from standard chain hotels, with furnishings mixing eras and styles in a way that gives the place its own charm. We arrived late because of traffic, past the official check-in time, but were welcomed without any trouble and offered a drink by the pool. The creaky shutters reminded us of the building's age, though we slept very well. For our short stay, nothing was missing.

The hosts, an eccentric but very helpful pair, made the stay. The rooms are stylish and have everything you need, with a lovely saltwater pool behind the chateau. The setting is beautiful, with picturesque views.

We spent a whole weekend at a celebration here and didn't want to leave. The chateau works well as a wedding or party venue, with lots of room for guests, a small camping area, and a large garden for activities. The renovated barnhouse has a stage, balconies, and full barn and kitchen facilities, so there is space for everything from a formal dinner to dancing. The grounds are beautiful, with a good swimming pool, terrace, and views. Rooms all have their own character, each a little gem of Frenchness. It's also a lovely place for a relaxing break, exploring the area, or a romantic honeymoon. Great location, chateau, and owners.

We paid 160 euros a night for what felt like a 1 star hotel. The place was dirty and poorly maintained, and the pool was green and full of insects. We waited outside for at least 15 minutes when we arrived because the host was at the pool. Our room was hot and had no air conditioning; when we mentioned it, he suggested we use the pool. My wife asked for cleaner towels and another pillow for our daughter's bed, and he took offense and left, slamming the door. The wifi only worked downstairs.
