The apartment itself has been fine on the several times we’ve stayed. But this year, after booking with free cancellation, we had to cancel for a legitimate reason and the owner asked me to do it because he wasn’t interested in accommodating us. We’ve had to cancel other stays before because of COVID and vacation plans being called off, and those bookings also had free cancellation. If that option is offered, the conditions should be honored. We won’t be going back. There are lovely places to stay on the island with much better hosts.

Right in the city center, but still really quiet.
