After my bike ride, I found Martin wrapping up a farewell drink with someone at the bar just a few metres away. We ended up sharing dinner and stories, with Martin cooking a delicious meal from things grown in his garden. A lovely host, a great house, and wonderful views. It felt like the best place in the world 😄

The house feels welcoming and is clean and tidy, and the meals were generous as well as excellent. Martin is a friendly, really helpful host. The food was better than what I've had at plenty of restaurants. It's a great base for a quick stop or a longer visit to explore this beautiful area. See you soon!

A great bar is just down the road, and this B&B itself was terrific: comfortable accommodation, excellent food, and very good value.

We came back for a second visit in three years and had another fantastic stay. Martin knows the local cycling roads inside out, and his tips for dinner and drinks were spot on. He even gave our injured cyclists a lift and made a brilliant breakfast. The rooms were comfortable, the showers were great, and he kept us well looked after. A real haven for cyclists and hikers.

We were very happy with our one-night stay in Puivert. It's a sweet little B&B with attractive rooms, a nice family, and a good breakfast, all at a good price. In May, parking across the road was easy. They also offer a table d’hôte dinner if you'd like to eat there. There didn't seem to be any restaurants in town, so otherwise you'd have to drive.
