Best Western Seine West Hotel

We only stayed one night, but the lady at reception made us feel very welcome. I didn't catch her name, but she was sweet and kind, and spoke English very well. The room was clean and roomy enough for my family and our two little kids. Breakfast was delicious.

Breakfast had a great variety of quality products, and the room was clean and comfortable. I stayed three nights at the Seine West Hotel in Puteaux on a business trip, and the team made us feel warmly welcomed. Reception was attentive and quick to respond when the air conditioning failed on the first night. Fans were provided, with another available from the front desk, and the issue was fully fixed by the second night. The team sincerely apologized for the inconvenience. I highly recommend the hotel, and thank everyone for their professionalism.

The whole building's AC was down, and management couldn't say when it would be fixed because they were waiting on a part. Another reviewer said it had already been out four days earlier. I booked last week and got no warning, either before arrival or at check-in. The building next door had loud AC, so sleeping with the window open wasn't an option. UPDATE: The hotel's reply conveniently left out that I was offered an air-conditioned family room for one night only, then would have to return to a room without AC unless they somehow fixed it. Apparently I was ungrateful for being difficult and demanding. I spent much of the day arguing with staff and contacting customer service at Expedia/hotels[.]com and Best Western. At 4:30 in the afternoon, I finally got a refund for the remaining 3 days. The hotel couldn't provide the promised room with working AC, yet this was all required just to get money back for unused nights. They still charged full price for the first night, and offered no help finding another booking or apology. That says enough. I wouldn't stay here even if the AC is running again. UPDATE2: I forgot to get an invoice for work reimbursement on my business trip, so had to return. The front desk staff and manager apologized and blamed miscommunication. I got a full refund for the one night. The lobby AC seemed to be working, but I'd check directly with the hotel.
