With vineyards within easy walking distance and everything you need in the village, this is a great base in rural France. The garden makes a lovely setting for breakfast or an evening wine, and parking is secure and free. The owners were very accommodating, and breakfast came with lovely French pastries and bread. This is a unique B&B in the heart of Puy-l’Évêque, in a traditional house dating from 1769. It has distinctive old features and a beautiful feel, a true French mansion house. If you expect a new property, this won’t be what you had in mind.
James and Di are the best landlords Puy l'Eveque has ever seen. Their beautiful house feels like a chateau, with decor that blends French and English styles. I’d definitely recommend this chambre d'hotes.
A cracking little B&B run by an English couple, with great rooms and prices. The village is lovely and sleepy, with plenty to look around.
