The setting is lovely, with vineyards all around, and the rooms feel elegant and comfortable. We only stayed one night and enjoyed the place, though a few things fell short for the price. Our room's air conditioning wasn't working, a serious problem in summer, and there was just one bottle of water. At 28 degrees, a chilled local white wine in the fridge would have been a welcome touch. The red wine provided didn't suit the heat. Dinner also felt out of step with the beautiful surroundings. Service was disorganized and slow even with a set menu, and we had to ask several times for our drinks. Château Les Carrasses has a lot going for it, but these practical details need more attention for a high-end stay.

The dinner alone deserves a mention: the chef's creative dishes included a parsnip purée with vanilla, which was a stroke of genius, and the meal was very fairly priced for France. The Chateau's own wines are promising too, especially “La Serre”. Everything around our stay felt just as special. The property is majestic, our room was lovely and well kept, and there were plenty of activities. Elise gave us such a warm welcome, and the staff were wonderful from the first communication through our time there. We were so taken with the place that we extended our stay. We had only done that once before. A magical visit, and we'd happily return. All the best from Gabri and Lucie. PS we’ll be back! :)

We were fortunate to stay on site while working as photographers and videographers at a wedding on the 11th April. The food was excellent, and our spacious, air conditioned room was great. The chateau is beautiful, with lovely views and a great pool. We really appreciate getting to work in places like this.

The spa services were exceptional, and the rooms were beautiful. With delicious food and such a lovely location, this was a magical getaway. Five stars don't quite do this wonderful place justice.

Our daughters, aged 3 and 7, loved the kids club so much they wanted to go every day, especially for mini farmers and mini wine maker activities. At other kids clubs they'd been reluctant to join in. We had a glorious stay at Chateau Les Carrasses, from the lovely self catered accommodation and beautifully maintained surroundings to the tasty hotel meals. Every staff member was warm, welcoming, and professional. We couldn't fault anything and hope to come back soon.
