The beach is only a five-minute walk away, and residents can use the parking and swimming pool. A perfect place.

We booked two apartments for a single night, and both were in an unacceptable state. They hadn't been cleaned: the bedding was stained, the bins were overflowing, and the toilet and bathroom were filthy.

We were seven people staying one night in apartments 14 and 109, chosen because the port of Quiberon was close for our ferry to Belle-Île the next morning. It turned into a dreadful experience. Apartment 109 was somewhat better, but still messy, with food scraps on questionable bedding, dusty piles of duvets and blankets, and no pillows. The bathroom looked outdated and had a moldy shower curtain. Apartment 14 was truly disgusting and unsanitary. The fridge was filthy, the bedding was dirty and stained, yellowed, and had insects. There was hair throughout the bathroom and studio, excrement in the toilet and no toilet paper, greasy door handles, dishes piled in the sink, and both the bins and dishwasher were overflowing. The guestbooks in the apartments have comments much like ours. Someone needs to take action. They can't be rented out in this condition.

Apartment 002 is in a great spot, about a five-minute walk from the port of Quiberon, with a terrace and parking. But the condition makes it hard to recommend. The apartment feels neglected compared with others in the same building, as though its location is the main reason it's being rented. The kitchen needs attention: cupboard doors are damaged, the sponge was moldy, the dish soap dispenser was empty, and the toaster was rusty. The freezer was iced over and wouldn't close, while the fridge compartment froze food. There was only half a roll of toilet paper for a stay of several days. Cleaning was inadequate, with thick dust on shelves, skirting boards and inside light fixtures. In the bathroom, grout and shower tiles had visible mold; the hairdryer only turned on on the first floor and overheated without blowing hot air. The soft mattress was yellowed and stained and really needs replacing. Paintwork was sloppy, especially under the sink, and there were damp and mold stains on a door frame. It's a shame, because a proper clean and some basic upkeep could make this apartment pleasant. The location near the port and amenities, plus the parking and terrace, are real advantages.
