The breakfast, with croissants, bread, cheese and muesli, was sensational, and the family's hospitality felt warm, attentive and almost touchingly devoted. The bathroom was as huge as an entire hotel room elsewhere. The cleanliness stood out too. It felt like someone had cleaned with real passion, not just done a cleaning job. Maison Lala Saul is a total work of art, not an ordinary hotel. Every corner, vase and painting feels carefully designed, and you can sense the passion in the details. The interior quality is extraordinary, with the high-end feel of the 60s and 70s. Nothing seemed off the shelf, from the bed linen and furniture to the beds themselves. The price was more than reasonable, honestly far too low for this level of quality. I'd pay triple without hesitation. The best hotel I've ever visited. I'm absolutely thrilled and have never been so impressed by a place to stay. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give it a solid 20.

We spent two days at Lala Saul, a beautiful place with parking and an ideal location, a 15-minute walk from the center of Quimper. The Siam suite was spacious, very comfortable, and beautifully decorated, with an excellent bed. Breakfast was generous and made with high-quality products. After exploring the Quimper area, we enjoyed the large living room and adjoining veranda in the evenings, for coffee, board games, or chats with our very friendly hosts, Pascale and Alain. They made us feel right at home. The gin made with a local distillery was excellent, and I even brought a bottle home. We didn't get to try the dishes from the vending machine, which are prepared by a local restaurant, but it's a brilliant idea. The jacuzzi is, too. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

My daughter and I stayed a night in Quimper, in the Captain's Room with its enormous bathroom. What a splendid place! I'll be captivated for life. 😅 The energy in this beautiful house is so positive, and Pascale and Alain are a big part of that. They welcomed us warmly and made us feel at home. Alain recommended his favorite crêperies for authentic Quimper crêpes. Breakfast was excellent, varied, plentiful, high-quality and beautifully presented. Perfect! We look forward to seeing you again in Quimper! 😉
