The breakfast was lovely, intimate, and fantastic, and the spa was even more impressive. We stayed in the Paradis suite, which looks far better in person than in the pictures, and had the chateau to ourselves last week. The Beaujolais wine list was incredible too. We missed out on dinner, but there’s clearly more here we’d love to enjoy next time. Thanks to Anne for being such a patient, pleasant hostess. We’d be happy to come back.

The wine at the hotel is great, but the people who cut the vines that produce it still haven't been paid for their work...

The wine is great. You know what's even better? Paying people for their work :)

The staff were attentive, and Château de Souzy has everything for a pleasant stay: a lovely spa, a beautiful pool, and a superb reception room. The owner has done a magnificent, high-quality renovation of this charming château overlooking the Beaujolais vineyards. Chef David serves generous, creative food made with quality local produce.

We celebrated our wedding anniversary with a meal for 35 people, and it was top class. The setting was beautiful, with views over the Beaujolais countryside, and the sun came out too. Chef David TAUVIE and his team put thought into every dish from start to finish. The service was perfect. What more could we ask for?
