Best Western Hotel Le Semaphore

The staff were really attentive and helped us out despite our limited French. There was a very good range of local beers, too. The rooms felt new and were good, and both breakfast and the restaurant were top rate. Honestly, it was the best Best Western food I've ever had, proper restaurant quality.

We had a lovely dinner on the terrace, with an amazing view as the sun went down. The food was nice and presented well, though the waiting staff disappeared after our mains arrived. I think the dining room inside was busy. The room was excellent, clean and bright, and adapted for wheelchair access, which was a nice touch. Staff were lovely and friendly, and spoke a good amount of English, even though we try to speak French as much as possible. The location just off the autoroute to Calais is super convenient for a pleasant stop on the way to Le Tunnel. I'd definitely stay again, especially at such a reasonable price. Highly recommended if you're heading to the UK, particularly after driving back from the south of France before a long drive on the UK side.

Breakfast was excellent, especially the amazing scrambled eggs. The beds are comfortable and the showers have superb pressure. I hadn't stayed here in over 3 years, but it was just as good as when it opened, and everything still looks like new. It's a short drive to Le Touquet, so it works perfectly for a seaside holiday. Can't fault anything. I'll choose it again when I'm in the area. Thanks to all the staff!

The rooms look exactly like the pictures, which deserves 5 stars in this day and age. But hospitality needs more than nice buildings. The staff weren't outright rude, but they did make me feel very unwelcome. I'd paid good money to stay here, so I found that quite offensive.
