Hotel Continental - Reims

We had a wonderful stay in beautiful accommodations, and the hotel and staff were superb. The restaurant dinner was exceptional. There were a couple of snags: the shower drain didn't work well, so water flooded the bathroom floor, and there was a putrid drainage smell when I stepped into the shower. The Nespresso machine also didn't work, but they gave us complimentary coffee to make up for it. My husband left his wedding ring behind, and thankfully the honest cleaning staff turned it in at the desk. We're very happy with the stay and grateful to them.

After a long transatlantic journey, getting to check in early felt like a small miracle. The staff were excellent throughout, friendly, attentive, and spoke English. The room was comfortable, if not exceptional. A solid choice in Reims.

Our corner room was quiet thanks to good soundproof windows, and it had a king bed, large bathroom, big tub, and separate shower. We were upgraded. The location is great, right by the train station on the pedestrian street, with public transport just outside. We walked everywhere. There's a parking garage available. Breakfast costs extra but was tasty, with eggs made to order, crepes, good coffee, cheeses, meats, granola, pastries, and more. We also had a very good dinner at the restaurant one night.

The location is excellent, and the hotel is good, with friendly, helpful staff. The room was clean and well equipped, although the furniture is starting to look like it could use renovation soon. Having a public parking garage right across from the hotel makes arriving by car easy.
