Marie was a wonderful host and helped point us towards the best bistros and restaurants. The house has real history and character, the service was over the top, and breakfast was superb. It’s ideally placed in the beautiful town of Rennes, within walking distance of some fantastic places to eat. We’ll stay here again!

Marie made us feel like part of the family, which was one of the best parts of staying at Castel Jolly. The house is beautifully decorated and centrally located, and breakfast each morning was fantastic. We loved our time there and can’t wait to return again and again.

Breakfast was delicious, and the gated parking came in handy. Marie was so welcoming and shared useful ideas for places to eat and things to do around Rennes. Her beautiful home is also in a convenient spot near the old town. We’d definitely recommend staying here.

The breakfast was delicious, and Marie’s recommendations for exploring the city were excellent, including help with translation. My daughter and I felt at home as soon as she welcomed us to Castel Jolly. The house is even more impressive in person than in the photos, with charming decor and lovely attention to detail. It’s a wonderful place to stay and, in our view, a much better deal than a hotel. We’ll certainly be back.

Marie was friendly, helpful, and charming, and the price included a lovely breakfast. The place feels cozy and comfortable, with beautiful decor, and our room was surprisingly spacious. It’s a short walk to the metro, too. A fabulous base for a stay in Rennes.
