Such a cool place. The lobby sex toys caught me off guard, but thankfully my mom has a sense of humor about them. The beds, WiFi, decor, and shower were all 10/10.

The room's quite small, though still bigger than an average Paris room. There's no hallway, just straight into the living room, and no wardrobe either, only an open hanger and shelves. On the plus side, the mattress was good enough, the rest of breakfast wasn't bad, and the location is convenient. The hot water was a problem at first. It was supposed to be fixed, but the temperature only reached 34-35 C instead of 25, and I still didn't want to shower in it. It finally came through on my third day. Breakfast initially had just one egg option, badly cooked blended eggs, but you can also order an omelette. With those updates, I'm changing my rating from 2 stars to 3. That seems fair.

We had a great time on the roof terrace and in the restaurant, though we only ate breakfast there, not dinner. Service was great throughout, and the hotel has some striking, well put together design ideas. The old and new work nicely together. Our only small gripe was the street facing room, which was a bit noisier than ideal at night.

Dogs are welcome, and the staff are friendly and speak English. My room, the Large Mama Double, was HUGE, exactly the comfortable size I wanted after a tiny room in Paris where I couldn't even get a stroller through the door. The hotel's right in the center, with quirky, fun decor. Nearly everything was first class. They didn't offer room service, but that's a minor thing. I'd happily stay again and recommend it.
