Ainsi de Suites

Dinner in the secluded garden was a treat, with a tasty meal Carine had prepared and some very pleasant local wine. We were grateful that Carine and Thierry made our late arrival easy. The room was comfortable and well equipped, and the next morning’s breakfast, including homemade jams and marmalade, was a great start. The characterful house is in the quiet, picturesque village of Reugny. Service felt relaxed and helpful, and we thought the stay was very good value. Would happily recommend it.

A lovely, restful place in a pretty little French village. The owners were welcoming and kind, and there was a safe spot to leave our bicycles. We had a very nice stay in this beautiful house and would definitely return.

We spent plenty of time unwinding in the garden, sitting in the sun with wine and cheese. The breakfasts were served in a lovely room overlooking it, and the house itself was very clean and comfortable. Cathy and Christophe made us feel welcome and at home. Ainsi de Suites is also well placed in the Loire Valley, close to castles, wineries, and lots of sights. I hope to stay there again. If I return to France, I know I’ll choose it.

Thierry and Carine speak English, tend the bar, curate an art and gallery, and gave us the best hospitality I’ve come across abroad. This felt like a real B&B, with every part of the stay thoughtfully arranged before we arrived, not just an Airbnb. Dinner choices around Reugny are slim, so we brought sandwiches and our own wine the first night, not realizing guests could join a shared dinner. Their wine was much better than ours. And definitely consider the breakfast ham and eggs for $3.
