The place feels intimate and peaceful, with a refined charm that makes it seem like a hidden gem. Château Louise de La Vallière has an authentic, timeless atmosphere, and every corner of the château seems to tell a story. We were struck by the remarkable attention to detail. From arrival onward, the service was warm, attentive, and thoughtful. It was an unforgettable stay and one of the best hotels I’ve experienced.

The prix fixe dinner was excellent, and the price seemed very reasonable for the quality. We first had drinks in the Lounge, where our waiter and host took our order, then were escorted to the dining room when the meals were nearly ready. Our host also showed us around the gardens and accommodations. When it was time to leave, our car was brought to the door, and we were given an ornament to remember the experience. We enjoyed dinner here in June of 2023, and it was wonderful.

The grounds feel romantic, and the outdoor heated pool was just perfect. We felt welcome in a friendly, charming château that’s incredibly luxurious without being intimidating, and its royal history is fascinating. The gourmet restaurant deserves several Michelin stars. We had the six-course menu and every course was delicious. A great hotel base for visiting the Loire Valley castles. Merci to the owner and staff!

We had a great stay, with everything going smoothly from check-in to check-out. The staff were amazing, and both the bar and restaurants felt refined, with high-end cuisine. One of the best hotels we’ve stayed at.

Dirty, with no heating. I had to stay in bed just to keep warm. The food was horrible, including burnt asparagus and asparagus with oysters. The service was rude and greedy. Horrible hotel, two stars at most.
