You’d never guess from the outside, which looks like an ordinary house on a residential street, but inside the room is modern, clean, and funky, with some fun art. They were very accommodating when we arrived at 11.30pm. There was a fan in the room and a beautifully renovated bathroom. The bed squeaks a little, but it’s still the best value for money you could ask for.

This was my third visit, and I felt just as welcome as before. The B&B is lovely and very close to Trentemoult. The house has charming decor, the rooms are comfortable and practical, and breakfast is a lovely start to the day.

There’s no guest parking, but I’d still recommend this place. It’s beautifully decorated, the rooms are comfortable, and the host is friendly and gives useful advice when you happen to see her. In hot weather, you’ll need a fan in the upstairs rooms. The guest rooms are lovely and very well located just outside Nantes city centre, in the Trentemoult district near the riverboat departure point. Several restaurants along the Loire are within walking distance and vary in quality. They get very busy after 7 pm.
