Breakfast came with views over fields, plus a friendly donkey and chickens and a very shy goat. We only stayed for one night, arriving at 2am after travel problems. We had called ahead, and they sent a photo showing where our room was, left the key in the door, and put a welcome note on it. Such kind service. The gardens were beautiful too, and the room decor was really lovely, especially the bathrooms.

The food is very good and not overpriced, with delicious puddings and a good choice of wines. Christine, my hostess, is a star, and as always, it's a delight. A shame they don't serve bubbly as an aperitif, though that's a small downside. There's also a terrace to sit on when the weather allows!

Really clean rooms and great value for the money. The owner and staff are super friendly. I'd absolutely recommend it.

The food is fantastic, and the place is lovely and clean. This was my fourth stay at La Corbonniere, and I can't recommend it highly enough!

A lovely place to stop while travelling through France. It's remote, but not too remote, if you know what I mean.
