Beau Site Notre Dame

Staying here gave me the Rocamadour experience I wanted. The hotel is right in the middle of town, with a lovely view, and the room was comfortable. The service was excellent, and the restaurant served quality local food.

Parking was a whole drama, but we had a great stay. The hotel is lovely, with spacious, nice rooms and great staff. The AC actually worked, even in May. It was cooler outside, so we did have to open the windows, but that aside, we enjoyed it.

We spent one night here at the start of a cycling trip around the Dordogne. The hotel is well placed for local sights, with beautiful views. Our room was spacious and comfortable, and the shower was lovely. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, and the restaurant across the road had excellent food and service. There's a lift, but some rooms have steps inside, so they may not work for guests with mobility issues. I'd highly recommend the hotel.

Most rooms look out toward the mountainside monastery, and the hotel is ideally placed for the monastery, the main walking trail, and the cute local shops. It's only a few minutes away. The rooms have been renovated recently, so the showers and other amenities were perfectly suitable. Staff were kind and helpful, with plenty of room service choices. There aren't many parking spots, and there's no refrigerator in the room. The double beds are two singles pushed together, which can be frustrating for a couple. You can't really put Netflix on the TV, though that shouldn't be the reason you're in Rocamadour.
