The host even sorted out a ride for us to Gouffe de Padirac cave after we found out there was no bus. My wife and I were walking the Via Podiensis variant through Rocamadour and stayed at Les Pirondeaux in May. We loved the room, breakfast, and location, but her warm welcome and hospitality really made the place. We’d happily recommend it.

The apartment was roomy, lovely, and well equipped for a longer visit. It’s right in the centre, and the hosts were so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was just right.

The location is right downtown Rocamadour, and the accommodation was lovely, clean, and well decorated. The host was friendly and accommodating. For €180, though, we were a little disappointed that there was only an ensuite bathroom, even though the apartment was advertised as a family room. There were no lamps in the sitting room either, which made it less comfortable for anyone sleeping there. In hot weather, a simple fan would also work better than the “refresher” unit.

We spent three nights in the “Cabilière” apartment on the second floor. It was clean, comfortable, and very spacious for two, with a lovely open view across the valley. Rocamadour is right outside, and the location couldn’t be better. The owner was friendly and helpful. There are no cars, so we mostly heard birds, church bells and chimes, and tourists walking through town. Having private parking close by was a real plus, especially in August. Definitely a place I’d recommend.
