Rochefort Authentique

Everything is within walking distance, and parking is easy. I loved staying in this quiet studio in Rochefort. It’s cozy, charming, and very cleverly laid out, with excellent bedding. The small courtyard overlooking the studio is lovely, and the laundry facilities are a useful extra, though I didn’t use them. As soon as you walk in, there’s a wonderfully clean smell. 👍👌

This is my second year coming back to this quiet, well-located apartment. The rental is kept in excellent condition, and the woman responsible for its upkeep is so kind and welcoming. The property management team is helpful too, especially Nanou, whom I want to thank. If you’re visiting Rochefort, this rental is ideal.

The parking lot is often full, so finding a space can be tricky. There’s also a small outdoor outbuilding available. The apartment itself is small, very clean, and cozy, suited to one or two people. It’s close to the city center, good for relaxing and exploring, and really good value for money.

I had an unpleasant stay and wouldn’t recommend the apartment. The comfort is basic, the shower was unsanitary, and the place was much smaller than it looked in the photos, which seem to use an ultra-wide-angle lens. The owner has a company clean the apartment, and its employees were rude and aggressive.
