Le Concorde

The room was very clean and the bed comfortable, and it was fine for one night. But the sound insulation needs work. I could hear the other guests as if they were in my room.

We arrived around 10 pm, and the key pickup instructions were very clear. Reception is just across the street, so it was easy. We were a family of two adults and two teenagers and booked two rooms. The receptionist upgraded us, which was so kind. Both rooms were large, clean, and well soundproofed, with lots of towels, and we all slept really well. Ours had been fully renovated and was beautifully decorated; the teenagers got a double room with several beds and its own bathroom. We were surprised by how spacious they were. Thanks so much, I highly recommend this hotel!

The receptionist was very friendly, and check-in happens at the restaurant farther down the street. We had booked three rooms. One had a double bed and two singles, which worked perfectly. Another had a double bed, but the bathroom floor was stained from a leak under the toilet. In the third room, there were two single beds, but it had a double bed instead, so my son and brother had to share. That room faced a large wall and had neither air conditioning nor shutters. It’s a shame the nicer rooms only face the street. The walls are paper-thin and poorly insulated, and the elevator barely fits two people, or one person with luggage.

I was staying here in May 2025 when the ceiling in my room came down on me in the middle of the night as I slept. I ended up with facial injuries and bruises, missed 10 days of work, and was left with emotional trauma. The hotel is still open. There’s been no serious action, no calls, and no follow-up. It’s unbelievable that guests are still allowed to sleep in these conditions. I’ll leave it to the justice system to do its job.
