Macinaggio and the surrounding area are really lovely. The house has been refurbished recently, and the apartments are pleasant, with a nice sea view. Such a great place and atmosphere. Highly recommended!

The owners were so attentive and kind, and there was even a little gift waiting for each of us when we arrived. The cottage was clean, the beds comfortable, and all the sheets smelled wonderful. It was well equipped, even for a baby. We loved the games room downstairs, with kids' games and books as well as space to spend time together. It's close to the sea and amenities but still completely peaceful, with a view of the water and horses. A little slice of paradise.

We stumbled across Campu Stelle while looking on Maps, then checked the website for availability the day before leaving. There was hardly anything left in Macinaggio, so we were surprised when the owner, Chiara, replied right away. The next day we were there, in a wonderful setting. Our apartment had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen stocked with utensils, pots, pans, plates and glasses, plus an espresso machine. From the terrace you can see the sea. An easy path gets you to Macinaggio beach in just a few minutes, about 150m away. There's ample parking, and Macinaggio is within walking distance, around 10m away. The shared games room has billiards, table football and board games. Highly recommended.

We only had two nights here, which was a shame. Campu Stelle feels like a peaceful country retreat, a few hundred metres from Macinaggio and surrounded by greenery under a big blue sky. The owner has turned a country house into a place that's hard to forget. We stayed in the ground-floor apartment. There are a couple more upstairs, and the common room next door kept our kids happily busy for hours with the kitchenette and drawing things. Adults can use the table football and pool table, and there are lots of books and board games too. The courtyard has several tables for eating outside and a fully equipped barbecue area. Plage Tamarone is a fabulous beach, 1.3 km away and easy to reach by car. It's a peaceful getaway about half a day's drive from Milan, Turin, Genoa, Florence and Bologna. Magnificent!
