Hotel Victoria

The staff were AWESOME, so helpful, and we’d stay here again. The place is right across from the water, with a short walk to the train and a fairly quiet setting, though there’s a little traffic noise. Our room had a fridge and safe. I forgot to mention the unbelievable shower: fantastic flow and pressure. Rainfall heads usually just tickle water down on you, but NOT THIS PLACE!! I’m a convert to high pressure water.

The only real downside was that there weren’t many dinner options nearby. We had several meals at Cocody Sun across the street, which was pretty good. We also found a breakfast and coffee place around the corner and ate there every day. Great coffee and fantastic bakery items. The hotel itself was a great choice for our July trip, when we needed two rooms and wanted to keep costs and beach access in mind. The rooms were very nice, with ocean views, and the place was very clean. Staff at reception were friendly and always helpful. Since it was hot, we stopped by the bar each morning and they happily filled our bottles with ice and water. The area didn’t feel claustrophobically crowded. There’s a bus stop right outside, the train station is a short walk, and a very nice public beach is across the street. Bring water shoes or flip-flops. Highly recommend!

We stayed for the Formula E race weekend in Monaco, and getting an Uber from the hotel to the circuit was easy. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the location was perfect, and the view was great. Others had reserved the hotel parking for some of our stay, but finding nearby parking within an easy walk wasn’t much trouble. Really enjoyed it!

The room had a small issue, but the staff sorted it out quickly. We were greeted with a welcome drink, and everyone was super friendly and helpful. It’s a cozy hotel right across from the sea. Thanks so much for a lovely stay. We’ll definitely be back.
